Cameron has been on the planet since January 13, 2000 and he is our "Goldenheart". Cam is a very kind-hearted, peace-loving kid who is a self-appointed mediator whenever Mom and Dad get into one of their little spats. He has evolved into an excellent defensive soccer player and managed to earn a spot on the Travel "B" team. He is also following in Dad's footsteps and has developed a love for running road races (up to 5 miles so far, but mostly 5K's) and racking up age-group trophies and medals. To say that Cameron is a huge Star Wars fan is a bit of an understatement.
Although Cam is a very bright kid he unfortunately struggles with a learning disability. He has made huge strides in the learning department due to some help from medication, but it will be an ongoing challenge for him AND his parents.
Cameron used to be a huge animal fan, but nowadays he spends a great deal of time watching the Military Channel and can engage grown-ups in a comprehensive discussion about the Vietnam War, World War II and ground war strategy. So he's either going to be an animal rights activist or a professional soldier. Mom is pulling for the former.
