It is with great sorrow that I announce a strict no-snowball throwing policy for TS. Over the past few winters I have been compelled to spend a few minutes to throw snowballs at my training partners from behind during those long, slow, mostly boring distance runs.
This goes back to my college days when my team would break up into two squads on long runs and chuck snowballs across the road at each other while running. It was a great way to break up the monotony of long winter runs.
Alas, my attempts to help my training partners to appreciate this form of recreation have fallen short. Although I have thrown dozens of snowballs at them over the past few years, I have always made a point of not hitting them, and I never have...until today. Unfortunately, Ricky took a misfired snowball in the shoulder and I got my first close-up look at his unfettered rage. He definitely would have taken a swing at me if I was in range.
So, in order to avoid any further animosity from my fellow teammates, I have thrown my last snowball at them. Unless, of course, they really get on my nerves.
