Mr. Sattler is the most versatile member of our elite team. Over the last several years he has evolved into a highly competitive athlete for all distances from the marathon down, particularly in the shorter distances. He is also the team's sole representative on the triathlon scene with an admirable Ironman finish this past July and several excellent shorter triathlons under his belt.
Jay is also the self-appointed team peace-keeper. Mike and Rick often have dramatically different viewpoints on most subjects and Mr. Sattler always employs his considerable negotiation skills in order to keep the debates civil and good-natured.

Jay is a partner at Blum Shapiro, which is New England's largest accounting firm, President of the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce and father of two. His nicknames include "Sattler", "Ironman" and "Wonderbread" (long story).
