Having taken Saturday and Sunday off due to extreme soreness thanks to the Friday night soccer game, I was able to get in a mid morning run. The first two miles were quite slow as my hamstrings felt more like guitar strings ready to snap, but things slowely loosened up. After 2 miles, I began a 10-mile tempo run at 6:50 pace heading north into East Hartford and back, and wrapped it up with a one mile cooldown. 13.1 miles total, 1 hr 31 minutes total running time.
