My Armstrong Showdown Training Log: 4.19.08
As they say in the film industry, that's a wrap! I ran 9.4 miles this morning at an ambitious 6:44 average pace. So my Boston 2008 training is officially done with and I think I'm as prepared to face Lance as I'm ever going to be.
This will be my 10th pilgrimage to the Boston Marathon, so I know that tomorrow should be a lot of fun. I'm going to shove off from Glastonbury pretty early in order to catch the 8am start of the U.S. Women's Olympic Marathon Trials, then I'll spend the rest of the day wandering around B-Town and enjoying the marathon's expo. I'll be staying with my sister in Wellesley overnight, and then it's off to Hopkinton early on Monday.
I'll be posting remotely from Boston tomorrow and Monday, if I'm still alive at that point, of course.
