My Armstong Showdown Training Log: 4.7.08

NabThe quads are a little sore and stiff from the race yesterday, so it was a straighforward recovery run this morning.  I did the 3.5-mile trek to the GHS track, then 2 miles on the track with a few windsprints on the very-cool synthetic grass football field, just because I felt like it, before heading home.  The pace was a bit brisker than my typical recovery-run pace, but that was probably due to my legs celebrating the fact that there was actually some level ground to run on (particularly at the track), in stark contrast to yesterday's race.

9.6 miles at 6:54 pace this morning.  My training log is telling me that I have logged 1,112 miles of Boston training since January 1st, which is a little hard to believe but that's what the log says.  And a mere two weeks until Boston!
