My Armstong Showdown Training Log: 4.10.08

I was supposed to meet up with Sattler this morning but unexpectedly met up with Mr. Art Byrum instead!  While Sattler apparently slept straight through his alarm clock (not sure why the heck an accountant would be that tired this time of year!) Mr. Byrum showed up at the usual meeting place on Route 17 thinking that we would all meet there like we did last Thursday. 

So that worked out pretty well!  We snaked around the Buttonball area a bit, including a couple laps on the GHS track.  The pace was nice and easy as we chatted about each other's plans for race day.  I thought we were in Boulder, CO for a while with all of the other runners and walkers that we saw out there during the pre-dawn hours.  Love to see that!

11.4 miles this morning at 7:07 pace.  It looks like I'm going to break 1,200 miles of training for this crazy race...good God!  8 training days until Boston.
