The kids' run goes off at 8:30, half-an-hour before the grown-up's do their 5K. So, if you're doing the 5K then bring the kids/grandkids along and watch them have a blast in their own little race. If that doesn't get you pumped to do the 5K then nothing will!
The race is a loop around the Hubbard Green (about .3 miles...give or take .1 miles) and they will run on the sidewalk along Hubbard Street, so no worries about car traffic.
They'll get to wear a race bib and cross the finish line with a big clock. No official timing, awards, results, etc. Instead, every finisher gets a special prize and a finisher's certificate to stick on the fridge when they get home.
As always...no registration fee! But we do ask that you register your child and sign the all-important waiver.
